Patio heaters are becoming more stylish, more desirable and more affordable by the day! They look great and allow you to extend any barbecue occassion into the early hours - without feeling the chill.

The 2005 Calor Choice patio heater range consists of some of the very best in the business.

This combined patio light and heater is priced at around £250. The elegant Mirage Curve has a maximum heat output of 11kW and a gaslight output of approximately 60 Watts. The unit has a weather-resistant paint finish and wheels for easy positioning.

Retailing at some £300, the Mirage Commercial has an output of up to 15kW - enough to keep everyone warm, even on the coldest day. The good looking Mirage is made from stainless steel and features include piezo ignition, a hinged access door to the gas cylinder compartment and an anti-tilt safety device which automatically cuts the gas supply off in the event of an accident, and wheels for easy moving.

At around £100, this small stainless-steel heater is designed to stand on a table top and heat the immediate surrounding area. It features a stainless steel burner, a 520mm diameter reflector, a protective chrome wire guard, an anti-tilt switch and piezo ignition. It comes complete with an easy clip-on regulator. Heat output is between 3 and 6kW.
