For caravanners based in the North, Beechwood Grange is a great first-time site. It is rated by the VisitBritain tourist board as a 5-star touring park - the highest mark available.
 Based just outside York, the site is a great base for families keen to make the most of their holiday time. Both on and off site there is plenty to do and see - giving you the ideal introduction to the caravanners way of life.
The expansive site gives children plenty of space to roam and play, with areas set aside for ball games and a play area with swings and climbing frame. There is a swimming pool just over a mile from the site. In fact Beechwood Grange features  all the mod cons you could hope for, with parent and
toddler bathrooms, disabled facilities, laundry
facilities and security barriers all in place.
The site's location, in open countryside on York's outskirts, makes it the perfect holiday base. Suitably far away from the city centre to remain peaceful and calm, it's also close enough to discover everything York has to offer.
